In.com has gone ahead and launched its own blogging platform in Blish. Blish marries the concept of multimedia blogging to a twitter like community platform.
On Blish One can Post text, photos, videos, links, games, rss feeds and also twitter updates. One can follow other users at blish and their updates as well (just like twitter). Blish shows a list of trending topics as well (again just like twitter). One may say that blish is an expanded version of twitter as there seems no character limit and there are multiple features for photo, videos and game publishing as well.
Blish has also launched with the ability to publish via mobile (sms) or by sending an email to an alternate account as well.
All in all if i were to rate blish as a product on its own merit I would give it a 3.5 / 5 rating. I think it has a great UI and well executed product but in more ways than one its a me too. In.com as a platform has till now aggregated content and the only user generated content has been the huge number of comments that they get on songs and games on their site. This is probably their first attempt at creating a UGC platform within their site which is not connected to any bollywood movie or any event like elections. So it would be interesting to see how users take to this platform on In.com. It will also be the real test for In.com as this would prove whether the platform just has traffic or ability to engage users as well.
(Thanks to Kunal from Web18 for tip off)

thats another exciting feature from In.com but for a wordpress fan, it’ll be difficult to move to another platform looking at all the features and user frendliness that wordpress has.
