Nice interview. Liked the advice for Entrepreneurs very much…
Completely an useless interview. You lost the opportunity. All you focused was on how to sell WATBlog to GigaOM.
You could have asked him about how he feels about Indian startups and why they do not cover them.
You did bad job.
@Arurag: Hey anurag thanks for the feedback. We did discuss with Om but he doesn’t follow the Indian scene that much besides for the Satyam Saga that happened recently. Also he has clearly mentioned that they are focused on the US markets and thats why they dont cover Indian startups.
With respect to us selling out let me make it clear that we have no intention of selling out WATBlog. Not until you are willing to shell out 20 million $
The questions we asked to understand the business strategy behind the acquisitions and the future of Gigaom.com. I think we tried our best given that there was limited time. But we shall work more on our QnA before shooting WATShow’s next time around and up the bar.
@Mittal Patel: Thanks mittal.
I can’t understand why people be so harsh and criticize other’s work so badly. I know it is necessary to criticize rough work but still it doesn’t mean that you just blow the opposite up. I don’t think the interviewer might have thought of pitching Om Malik to sell his blog while interviewing.
I can’t understand how can people think to this extent. Either they are genius or I am too childish to think beyond the limits
Interesting !!
