TieUps Update: BookmyShow – IMint / One97 – ExpressNetworks

Well the year ending is near but the Tie ups news still continue to pour in. Companies continue to forge partnerships for better distribution and reach and here are two more such partnerships and tie ups this week.

Bookmyshow iMint Tie Up to launch loyalty programme for customers

bookmyshow-imintBookmyshow.com which was recently in the news for huge ticket booking numbers for new releases has forged an alliance with I-mint to introduce an l-mint customer reward program for its users. This loyalty programme will offer customers ability to earn loyalty points on their I-mint cards when booking tickets for movies and plays and then the same can be redeemed through Bookmyshow.com as gift vouchers of different denominations, which can then be used for future purchases on Bookmyshow.com.

Bookmyshow has been on a tie up spree off late with tie ups with Seventymm and Airtel and both were for better distribution. This tie up though seems to be aimed at driving stickiness and loyalty among those who book via their ticketing site.

One97 ties Up With Express networks for news on mobile

One97 the telecom application platform company has announced its strategic partnership with Express Network Pvt. Ltd which is promoted by The New Indian Express Group to provide subscription based local news and information on mobile to south india users.

This service will offer content of The New Indian Express, and its Web- site, www.expressbuzz.com, to mobile subscribers through SMS. Users can subscribe by sending a simple SMS to 53030 to avail these services. The news would be latest and relevant news from south india.

Earlier to this current tie up they had also had another tie up with Zee news which was on the similar lines. Given these two tie ups it can be said that One97 seems to be focussing on the news vertical on the mobile front in a big way.
