Vdopia is a video ad network much like Jivox which raised 10.7 million $ recently and it boasts of 100 million video impressions and 60-70 publishers like Ibnkhabar, ndtv, cricketnext, zoomtv and others.

It also claims 60-70 advertisers like Idea, Maruti, General Motors and Tata Sky. It has per as per view pricing for advertisers.

We did interview ZoomTv Business head Mr.MK Anand not too long ago who stated that Video advertising is a big play for them and they were targetting current TV revenues with online video monetization in the next 3 years. Given this optimism its only natural that 2 Video networks have raised tons of money for the Indian market. The question to be asked is that is there enough variety and quality video content out there for advertisers to pay a premium buck for? There if nautanki.tv as well but again how much of the content or its viewer are relevant. There are questions that advertisers will ask and whether funding or no funding such questions will need answers if video advertising on the web needs to get anywhere..
