@Sundar I have heared that one more like been bombarded by that one.
But trust me its not true. Indian press likes making up their own stories.
Thats the officer in plain clothes being shot down after he takes a shot at the terrorists.

There were many who did that, that night were either lucky for not being caught by a bullet or unlucky to have not been caught by the camera.Just the fact that the officers in the video are still holding their ground even after they see a fellow officer standing right next to them should prove my point.
Also the terrorists were shot down and did no die of a heart stroke like the press would like you to believe, at the end of the day. Our press loves making issues, it really needs to get a spine!

Every Indian is angry and feels sorry at the same time for what we all had to go through. Even if many of us wernt physically assaulted but it has played on our minds.

Common observations: 1. The media going hysterical to make the most out of the situation to prove that they are the smartest, in the process providing continuous vital inputs to the terrorists. The media are responsible for at least 25% of the deaths and much of the damage. Total area should have been cordoned off, media kept out, and only home ministry bulletins broadcast/printed.
2. No publicity or sympathy in the media for the large number of common people who died at CST. All time and space for VIPs in Taj and Oberoi. The media worship only the affluent even in a disaster, conveniently forgetting that in birth and death all human beings are the same.
3. No national mourning. It would have been there if any minister or family members of prominent politicians had been killed in the attacks.
4. Throught the period of the national tragedy, cheap entertainment shows continued in the TV channels, such as the monkey brand Reliance laughter show and prostitute brand filmi shows. Society has to punish these media and the people behind them. Some film producers must be already planning to mint money out of this misery by producing a masala film within a year or two on this episode.
5. The backbonelessness of Central Govt.is proven beyond doubt, at a very great cost to the people.

it is depressing and heart breaking.. but we need to realise why this has happened. our constitution states “we the people”..” give to ourselves”.. sticking by that … there is no one to blame, but ourselves… taking pride in being the worlds largest democracy isn’t it. … for god’s sake.. we should make the right decision ..give the right vote…
….vote for the right representatives, spread awareness, raise funds, hold workshops to unite…. STOP PLAYING THE BLAME GAME.. strt reacting.. and remember.. we can fight terrorism by not getting terrorised.. so lets all work for safety of our rights.. of our lives.

I am really applaud by coments of Amit Gupta on nov 28th,(Hats off to you) all i suggest we be self vigilant & do not expect to depend on government. Yes they need to technology & more sophisticated arams to Police, wish we could have not lost those Police Officers who were with Pistols or with .303 World war II – Obsolete weapons.

Each of us has to act like self dependent & we should carry some weapon to protect our Lives & place of our livelihood..

Hi this is with regards to the terror attacks in Mumbai. I am a Mumbaite, was kind of taken aback by the whole patronizing of the NSG. Sure they did a good job, but calling them the heroes of the hour is quite out of line.
It took the NSG three days to neutralize a situation that should have been resolved in three hours.If they are so good maybe they can be half as fast to respond and neutralize a situation. After all it was just luck that there wasn’t a hostage situation to respond to….I mean three days?.
Secondly, they were the last to arrive on the scene like the following morning.And managed to contain a situation which was already contained.
Also one of the NSG personal was arrogant enough to brief the press of a volatile situation.Fortunately no one from the Mumbai police did so, even though they saw much of the action
The real heroes of the hour were the Mumbai police,
1)who shot down most of the terrorists with their
2)Faced them with no body armor and antique (.303 although am sure on the model)rifles
3)Protected the citizens when the needed it most
4)prevented more civilians from dying
5)Fell in the line of fire when they could have simply waited for the ‘Heroes of the day” to save us
I think its outrageous to call the NSG the guys who saved the day,simply because there was no one left to save
Also its quite ironic that the press failed to even mention the names of the officers, other then the senior ones in their reports
I’m not trying to underplay the role of the NSG here, just feel strongly that it was the Mumbai police who saved Mumbaikars at the end of the day

I wish some of the politicians would have taken as hostages and atleast 3-4 ministers would have stayed in the taj hotel and should have brutally killed, ONLY then our govt will take these attacks enough seriously. After 1-2 months I expect another attack in India, because its been a trend that every 2 months we are witnessing a terror attack.I HOPE atleast one politician wil be killed in the next attack, to get the sense of the brutalaity going on in our country.
