I dont think you guys have got it ! its not about a wap site . Its a social network on mobile - sms,wap and client. for a indian site a phenomenal leap - its a break through and a vision - we need to start appreciating ourselves

I think this is what true mobile social networking is all about. Mobile (telephone) has anyway been the most successful application of social networking since long. In coming days, we will interact with our social network in more ways than one thru mobile, and it needs to be seamlessly integrated as is being done by BigAdda. Now all that is needed is the data access cost to come down.

@ roy — the point here for me is about a medium (WAP) which has gained acceptance or not. if you think the product itself can drive users to doing something they havent done before on a cost intensive mobile phone gprs connection then good luck to you. on the advertising front, the first campaign was far better than this one, in concept and execution. Seriously.. why copy for this campaign? didnt another web based chat product also advertise with the same idea

Indyarocks and ibibo have WAP sites too. Watblog has covered that news before. Pls. correct it.
