Everyone seems to be cursing twitter due to database mishaps which occur frequently resulting in irreparable losses but wouldn’t it be great if you could backup all the data from Twitter profiles then here is the solution for you.

This site lets you back up your Twitter profile data in few minutes offcourse that would depend on how much active you are on Twitter.

How to do it?

Just go to Tweetake and provide your Twitter username and password on the page …..and select one from the five options given.

what those options means:-

Followers-It would only back up your followers id,username and bio with their latest status.

Friends-backup all information about people you follow.

Favourites-all data about your favourites list is saved.

Your tweets-all the tweets which you have sent will be saved.

Everything-all of the above things will be saved.

and click get them and within some time you would get the file to be downloaded…..download the file and open it in a programme which supports csv format for say ms excel.

some important things to note:-

The data is downloaded in csv format.

The backup do not allow to save the tweets which someone else has sent you it only saves what you have updated twitter about your status and your replies to others.

The future addition would include features to save all the tweets sent to you by all your contacts.

This could even open gates to data saving across all the social network and micro blog and is the right step in that direction.
