I am surprised to see all of you shocked with the price. This is exactly what was expected and by
the way iPhones features are revolutionary and the price is justified.
Respect the hard work that poeple have put in to develop this mind freaking device, because kind of great features and

enhanced user interface it has, it justifies it cost.

Hello friends,

Now that the Iphone has been launched with the exhorbitant price tags, what do u have to say bout it ???
It has been a big dampner to all expectations yaar !!!
I think that the HTC touch diamond and the nokia n95/96 are much better in value for money.
Lets wait and watch the performance of this gadget in India.

Hi Guys,

If the price is 31000 and 36000 for 8GB and 16GB respectively, then i am damn sure it will be a flop show for Steve Jobs in indian market.

People in india are not much aware of the latest technology what US people are crazy about, we need a phone with good qulity.. since I phone has got good features like Ipod, multi finger touch.. people are much satisfied with this..

So what i suggest is, give us the basic phone with Ipod and multi touch technology, we do not need the internet device.. we have got so many cyber cafe around to browse.. so if price is 12000 to 16000 deffenetly it will be a good show for Apple in india.

High prices & sticking to an operator will make a tortoise start for iphone in India. Looking at its craze and feature anything crossing 20k will not be justified.

I guess the price should be 16k for the 8GB one & 20k for the 16GB one..
I think its enough considering all the basic features it lacks like no video recording, bluetooth transfer problems etc..

great post. I wold agree that anything more than 20k for the 8GB version here will not make business sense in the long run. It will only encourage the smuggler’s market.

I wouldn’t mind paying up to 16k for this gadget, that’s how much it should cost with the features it has (or doesn’t have) at the moment..

I’d rather get a Samsung Instinct, or a FreeRunner if I am paying around 20k..

20K for 8GB and 25K for would be perfect for me. If they are priced at 31K & 36K they have definitely lost a customer. I would then wait for the next edition . I think they will launch a new version with 3MP camera in December for the US holiday season
