If you are reading this from your FeedReader, we suggest you log on to www.watblog.com now and check out our new look. We would love your feedback on the same.
Below is the screenshot that will give you the reasons for the change.
As you can see in the screenshot above, we have better categorized our content based on type of content and the vertical that its covering.
TOP CATEGORY TABS - News, views, Reviews, Tips & Tools and Features which are representated by the top image tabs above outlined by the RED color.
News - This category will cover the latest news in Web, Advertising and Technology space in India
Views - This category will showcase our views on the Web, Advertising and Technology space in India

VERTICAL POSTS TABS - Over the last two years we have covered not only Web, Advertising and Technology but also start ups, aquisitions, funding, tie-ups and reports happening aroung this space. Hence the need to have seperate vertical categories in a Tab based format. The same is represented by LIGHT BLUE outline in the screenshot above.

GRAVATAR - Now, we’ll remember your face along with your comments. Yes, we are talking about the avatars that you can flaunt besides your comment. Know how to face-off and do send us loads of comments.
The above was just what you could see on the first scroll of WATBlog. On scrolling down further this is what you see.
As you can see from the screenshot above, the next scroll brings you to the list of recent posts on your left side and on the side bar is the recent comments and most commented posts tabs and below that is our latest WATShow (Video Show on Web Advertising and Technology).
Phew !!! This is where are our website tour guide ends. Please discover the rest by logging on to www.watblog.com and post your feedback in the comments!
Nisha (Admin Head - WATMedia) adds: It’s taken us great effort and hardwork and also a broken hand of our Chief Blogger (Rajiv Dingra) to get this revamped WATBlog to you in flat two days time. Don’t believe us ?? Check our Chief Blogger’s right hand below

its not a feat if you’ll have managed to revamp the blog in 2 days time. After all, you’ll are using a modified free theme. But I like the design and the color scheme. nice and soothing!!
applause applause…
I am sure this will make browsing around on the blog much easier for many…
@others
I guess we still have to tweak a little more stuff around here..nevertheless we hope that you do post your feedback on what we could do better with this layout (that part is important) .. this layout is all about you.. at least that’s what we have had in our mind in changing the stuff around here… hope you find it the same way
and yea do wish Rajiv get well soon and stuff otherwise I’d have to do all the stuff around here soon
..kiddin kiddin..
Looks awesome! To me this the new site is looks more organized.
Great job.
rajiv u must be typing with one hand on im………sorry i didnt u knew when i mssgd u ..hope u get well soon……….well as i suggested to rajiv first suggestion the top featured box is damn bad cos when sum1 flips to second or for say 3rd news the size changes automtically…so try using image slideshows cos they remainconstant or change the featured text size to constant one…second change i suggest is vertical jootabs cos that shud be placed at the end of the blog rather than before the content…..and try to reduce congestion on front page cos it stretches the eye though however nice it looks
Guys, I just visited this webpage because of the request made in the post to feed-reader subscriber like me. Before visiting the page I was expecting some change to take place for the good. But that expectation was never going to come true as it turned out to be another out and out (sorry, but…)non-sensical blue affair. Blue is a very good colour as long as it is sensibly used. Look at the sidebar yourselves and put yourself in the shoes of a user and think about it. I just could not make out the distinction between the items in the vertical boxes. It was a real pain..to go through the sidebar.
Having an obsession for blue, as is pointed out in the description of the author, is not a murky thing at all as long as its sensibly used as in http://www.in.com .
I am not going to visit the website again but confine myself to the feed reader.
Rajiv- The blogs looks better now. However the site looks stuffed with lot of stuff. There is definitely huge scope of improvement. I personally do not like the blue color you guys have used in the site. Good Luck!
I like your energy. Keep shining.
Cheers
Rajesh
Excellent work…
But the sidebar tabs (recent and most commented) are sliding in a improper fashion in my browser…
Other than that ..everything is fine
Yay! We finally up with a brand new theme! Sheesh! Months of planning and finally some good news
HeHeHe!!
@ Mahe & @ Rockstar Sid
As Maneesh mentioned already, this look is just for you guys, for our beloved WATBlog readers. We can perfectly understand that we might have screwed up big time in a few places. However, we shall appreciate it big time if you could come up with suggestions. What more, if our resident theme editor, Maneesh, does a shoddy job in incorporating your suggested feature that we like, you just might get a chance to help us out and hit the Hall of Fame, what say?
@ Rajiv & @ Nisha
Great job, guys! I am so glad the theme is finally up!
Rajiv, Get Well Soon, Maamu!!
@ all WATBlog readers
Thanks a lot for your appreciation and love! Keep reading WATBlog and throwing rotten tomatoes at us! No, we do not resell them at the market. We preserve them ‘coz they prove that our readers care about us.
The best thing about the revamp is categorisation!! However the most commented and most popular section seems to be redundant coz I guess readers of watblogs are one who knows what he/she looking for and not go on herd instincts!
What really needs to be worked out is on header of the page… Three rows of menu tabs all with equal font size and huge icons(the icons are good but seems like its been stuffed thr!! ) and amidst all smashed logo of watblog !!!
I would go with previous layout with present categorisation !!!!!
Kudos to my boss and a mad friend (Rajiv is first my fren then my boss.. know this mad guy over three years now). Gr8 work.. and congrats to Nisha too for putting up wid Rajiv and doing the typing work for him
(almost sounds like an Orkut Testimonial..heheheh)
well on a serious note, coming up with different categories not only will give our readers an enhanced experience of WATblog but will also strive us to come up with more and better news and analysis.
So lets keep rocking the Web Advertising Technology space!!
Thanks all.. We have already incorporated feedback that we have been getting and will continue to improve our sites usability.
Nice site and nice change too. Keep going guys.
ya i really liked the new interface ,specially the categorization of the content,it is really easy to use, but the homepage is taking more time to load as compared to previous one, but after that everything is great,
Nice job guys. The site looks neat now. More organized and categorized.
