WATBlog Turns 2 Years Old.. Server Crashes.. Internet Goes Down! But We Survive!

Dear Reader,
It will be 2 years to WATBlog since I put the first post way back on 27th June 2006. WATBlog was started as a platform to reach out to the WAT (Web, Advertising and Technology) Industry and with time it grew to become a favourite with many of you.
Over the last 2 years we have seen over 2200 posts from over 40 contributors and over 2500 subscribed readers and almost 1 lakh unique visitors in a month to almost 1 million in page views! Phew! Its been a long journey i guess and we have gone from strength to strength in every aspect. WATBlog even gave birth to many things right from a consulting company in WATConsult.com to a Job board in WATJob.com to a Video Show in WATShow.com and A Gaming Blog in WATGame.com and many more WAT’s in the pipeline/wishlist ( WATCasts - podcast show and WATWiki - A Industry Wiki to name a few!)
We owe a lot to our readers right from pointing out our mistakes to adding insights to our blog.. Our readers have helped us grow and mature immensely and their constant feedback and participation is a sign of constant support for us.
Though It was suppose to be a day of celebration It turned out to be a day of startup blues as well.. Our Database server crashed in the middle of the day while the entire team at WAT was out watching a movie.. Then when we returned to office the Internet went down! God help us with our Hathway connection! But at the end we survived! Phew! and managed to get this post up!
But even then we had to put this Birthday update up! We apologize for the lack of posts today.. We are sure you would forgive us! Here we are sharing our exclusive Birthday Pics with you..
