Well It seems like BigAdda is using Amitabh as their brand ambassador to promote all the new features that BigAdda plans to release. Atleast thats what it seems looking at their latest press release which talks about the launch of the Moblogging service for BigB’s blog and only at the end of the press release does it mention that BigAdda would be launching moblogging for all the users.

 amitabh

We had blogged earlier about the possible astronomical sum being paid to Mr.Bachchan to blog on the BigAdda blog and looking at the way the blog is making news and the way BigAdda is using it to create a buzz about features its launching it seems there might be some truth in the payment aspect!

After all Reliance ADAG group has spent a bomb on TV ads trying to promote the hell out of BigAdda and when all and sundry couldn’t do the trick they have gone to the father of Bollywood Mr.Bachchan himself to rescue them.

Looking at the way celebrities are launching blogs and the way celeb blogs are being recieved in the market it wont be a bad idea for BigAdda to shift its focus from being a social network to being celebrity blogging platform with fan groups and movie snippets etc! I hope BigAdda is listening and does something before its too late!

(Pssst.. Industry circles are abuzz on how BigAdda hasn’t taken off! Would love to know something on the contrary from BigAdda themselves!)
