Zee Launches SpiceZee.com - A Bollywood News Site

Loading ...The success of ZoomTV.in seems to have inspired one and all.. So if it was BAG films earlier which launched an entertainment portal E24bollywood.com its now the turn of Zee to launch its own bollywood news portal. This ones called Spicezee.com.
On the occassion of the launch Akrita Reyar Content Head of the online arm of Zee News, said, “Spicezee.com was formally launched on June 17, 2008. Entertainment is like a sub-section on most of other sites. Spicezee.com is the first-of-its-kind site that gives complete ‘masala’ gossip of both Bollywood and Hollywood.”
Bollywood is hot content online that everyone seems to associate with in India and after possibly cricket it has the largest following in the Indian scene. No doubt bollywood celebrity blogs are a hit among the online audiences. But just launching bollywood centric portals is I think a herd mentality of these Tv channels. After all it doesnt cost much to a launch a portal and have a few content editors doing the content bit. But scaling the readership and building marketshare isn’t something that’s up everyone’s alley.
To me this launch by Zee looks like an attempt to replicate the online initiatives of other media players like ndtv and network18 which have similar portals for sometime now.

SpiceZee is quite a task to pronounce in conversation, a better name might have been SpiZee
I think SpiceZee is abest step to florish the music throughout the world.I like it vvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeerrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy mush
