The folks working on Google seems to be at the pinnacle of their creativity and their ideas are oozing out with plethora of innovations. It seems Google has finally realized the importance of being able to easily share media and information on social networking sites. Just as Youtube had come up with Facebook, StumbleUpon and Digg buttons to share videos, you should now be able to find an Orkut logo too, adorning the pack.

As evident from the screenshot above, all you need to do is click on the “Orkut” link and a new window pops up where you can share the video by listing it on the Videos section of your profile. By the way, the above video is an exclusive interview of Sanjay Trehan, CEO of NDTV Convergence on WATShow.

Moreover, Orkut had also come up with the feature of “Community Reccomendations” where Orkut plans to recommend community to its users according to the data in their profiles and also based on their current shoice of communities. Personally, I think it’d have been better if these community reccomendations were from my friends than from Orkut itself.
