Google has made some key senior management appointments for its India operations. Sridhar Seshadri has been appointed Business Head-Financial Services, Parminder Singh is Business Head-Technology, while Narasimha Jayakumar has been brought in as Business Head-Travel & Local for its advertising and monetisation business.

 

According to Google India, the appointment of Sridhar Seshadri, Parminder Singh and Narasimha Jayakumar is part of its strategy to go deep in the key sectors and deliver significant and measurable growth for customers leveraging the AdWords platform.

 

At Google India, Sridhar Seshadri will be responsible for the generation of Google’s advertising business from the financial services segment and will focus on serving key clients in the banking, insurance and mutual funds sectors.

 

Parminder Singh will drive Google’s advertising operations in the technology and telecommunications space in India. Narasimha Jayakumar will be responsible for growing Google’s presence in the travel, local (which includes classifieds and real estate) space.

 

 The appointment of these senior business executives is part of Google India’s strategy to go deep in the key sectors and deliver significant and measurable growth for customers leveraging the AdWords platform. Industry teams led by these newly appointed leaders will focus on providing counsel to customers regarding their digital, marketing and advertising strategies.
