According to a press release:- Mobifusion, a top provider of Indian mobile content products and services, announced a partnership with McGraw-Hill Education (MHE) in India, a leader in educational services and publishing, to develop mobile learning products adapted from its best- selling titles. mcgraw is the owner of standard and poor, business week and aviation week.

According to them, the initial products coming to major mobile operators in India are business titles featuring investment guidance and content derived from various Indian competitive examination prep guides for IIT, AIEEE and UPSC exams.

Earlier mobile was used only for checking the results but now it would be helping the students in preparing for examinations though it would be interesting to see the coming events in the education sector as this deal could open up the gate for other education companies to target the mobile market which has currently 250 million subscribers. Way higher than 40 million internet users.

This could again go down well for mobile operators as education could bring in additional VAS revenues.
