Nautanki.tv Ties Up with Bollywood Hungama, ZoomTv - A Look at 2 Models for Online Video in India

Just checked Nautanki TV – they have 2 new channels that have resulted out of tie ups. 1 is Bollywood Hungama and the Other is Zoom.

 

The Nautanki Blog also says that both these channels have just launched. There are hints towards ad revenue sharing with all partners. Percentages not outlined. 

 

Bollwood Hungama is dishing out the standard Bollywood fare and so is Zoom. Other TV partners include FTv and Spatarangi Marathi TV. We had previously blogged about Nautanki tying up with Games2win for Flash Games. Check out our post on ZoomTV.in’s strategy as well.

 

Within the last few days you have seen 2 models for Online Video.

 

1 Model is to create content (as Zoom TV does) and distribute it across various platforms.

 

Another Model is to create a Mass Media Vehicle and make it popular enough to create a platform for multiple varieties of content by crowd sourcing and then sharing revenue. Creating a win – win.

 

For the future, as more Bollywood players crowd the Market one will have focussed content verticals.
