Amitabh Bachchan Paid 100 Crore To Blog? Bitch About Shahrukh? Create Controversy?

Well we had termed the blog by Amitabh as a marketing gimmick by BigAdda and though amitabh had refuted claims that he was being paid for the same an article today in ET states that Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly paid Rs.100 crores to blog on BigAdda! And though some may say thats an insane amount to pay a blogger! (Psst.. 100 crores makes even Mike Arrington of techcrunch who reportedly earns 1 crore a month seem like a pauper!)
We have insider information that the blog might have been ghost written albeit after instructions from Mr.Bachchan! Also one look at the content and one can surely say that 100 crores seem like a justified amount given the viral impact of all the controversy the blog has created in offline media. Check this post where he terms Paanchvi Pass as Paanchvi Fail.
Mr.Bachchan has already created more PR for big adda from television and print for free what would have been atleast worth a few crores of direct expenses.
Besides for the 100’s of comments on Mr.Bachchan’s Blog does it do anything else for Bigadda? And its supposedly ’social’ social network? I guess the next step for bigadda would be to bring Mr.Bachchan even more closer to his fans by creating his Social networking profile on Bigadda. If they have really paid him 100 crores then this shouldn’t be that tough.
Besides for Mr.Bachchan the other man taking potshots at Shahrukh Khan is Aamir who supposedly has a dog named shahrukh who licks his feet! Check this post from aamir’s blog to know the level at which these stars are taking the blogging for fame aspect to.
Rajiv - Interesting, but I have to disagree with you when you say this is worth Rs.100 crores to Big Adda. For 100 crores they could have become a major sponsor in the IPL.
Anyway this Amitabh blog seems to be a total joke. Really don’t know who takes it seriously.
No matter what the PR around it-none of it can be worth more than a few lakhs at the most..that too is pushing it.

I don’t think it is worth that much money to BigAdda. They have not even linked it with BA properly. It is just a wordpress blog. I think only person gaining from it is AB and not vice versa(BA)
And if they did give him 100 crore then I think they did make a big fool of themselves.

Mr.Sudhir, out of jelous r r making such comments on Big B!Yes, it may not be worth of 100 Cr but it is a worthful blog to read every day! You’ll definitely learn something out of it, if u read it with positive mind(With out feeling of jelous). Bye the way who are you? Hardly u r known to few people(includes ur mother, father, brothers, sisters, friends, ur spouse, children, relatives, etc…)! But it is not the case with Mr. Big B! Dont make such stupid, baseless comments!!
as i come to know by someone’s views that big adda is not to make people fool. even that’s a right way to express our view besides call press confrance. becouse evryone has the rights and freedom to put there comments or views to the public. Mr.Amitabh Bachchan is always right to there place, I wish him all the best and great success in future. keep it up mr. bhachchan.
