Reliance Globalcom, the international arm of Reliance Communications, is planning to launch a global backbone to enable international inter-bank transfer on mobile platforms across 110 countries reports Business Standard.

Idea also announced a similar move last month by joining hands with Tata Communications and Etisalatof UAE. Their pilot will be tested only in the 1 country. Reliance on the other hand is planning to cover 37 countries in the 1st phase.

According to sources, even Mobile Soultions Provider Myzus is offering P2P Money transfer services in UAE for Indians to send their money back. I’m not sure however, if they are doing it independently or whether they are powering the technology for some big player.

We wrote about how P2P money transfer will be one of the mainstays of M – Commerce.
