Even, when you try downloading from these sites they offer you in two formats. Basically, when you upload a video file to youtube, the raw file is processed into 2 file formats - 1) .flv(low) & 2) .mp4(high quality). But, if you have copied some others' video & uploaded the .flv file directly, it doesn't show the high quality option. In that way also you can notice whether the file is original or copied from anyone else. @ANkur,

As for piracy .. comeon .. the quality of these downloaded video is bad.. (the video quality on YouTube is as it is bad...) Piracy doesn't only exist within the domain of YouTube :P - Their anti piracy tool only matched videos that have been uploaded on YouTube right?
