SatGuide, India’s 1st GPS Navigation Systems Provider now sells a GPS enabled Bluetooth Reciever that can convert your laptop into a Navigation Device.

“When an individual is planning to travel outside his/her office or to another city, SatGuide’s laptop and desktop version can help improve his/her efficiency by at least 15% during the trip,” Sat Guide said.

SatGuide offers Personal Navigation Devices, GPS enabled PDA’s and Windows Mobile Phones coupled with GPS capabilities.

The SatGuide Software for laptops and desktops, once installed, does not require an internet connection to compute directions, distances, et al. It basically still does everything that your standard Online Mapping Application do. No real noticeable difference. A pointless feature according to me. Those that can afford this Software can also afford a mobile internet connection.

The other company that has launched GPS enabled Navigators is MapMyIndia.
