RockStar Games’ GTA IV released recently (April 29) and has already been getting a lot of raves from game critics and audiences alike. The game has received an average review of about 99 0n Metacritic.com, this is no joke, it is by far the best reviewed game in a long long time.
GTA IV has created a new record by selling 609, 000 during it’s first day of release in the UK only!

I think marketers need to understand games well because they reflect pop culture and also generate a lot of human insights (especially the popular ones). If one really tries to uncover why these games are working one can understand a lot about the unconscious mind of human beings.
