Last October, the Mozilla Foundation Announced that it would be setting its sights on Firefox Mobile.
Mitchell Baker recently told Technology Review that Firefox Mobile would be out sometime this year.

The United States based makers of the CDMA platform, Qualcomm said that it plans to offer chips for 3G telecom services at ultra-low prices in India. Microsoft walking away from the deal might seems like an ideal situation that Yahoo might have dreamt of. But it’s actually a nightmare. Let me tell you why. If Microsoft walks away from the deal, thousands of shareholders of Yahoo will be furious since they failed to get a justified price for their holdings in Yahoo. Tech, sex and romance has a great bonding. In near future I won’t be surprised if tech companies send their executives to a sex or a romance conferences/gatherings rather than a boring client meeting. Sex conventions are always considered to be medicinal/clinical and pornographic in nature. Now, social-media has given it a new dimension. It has helped people to create smaller, targeted gatherings that treat sexuality and technology as inseparable. In near future such sex conferences would gain more popularity and will drive more and more people.
Browsing through the Internet today, I came across the news of the NGO Nanhi Kali launching its new website http://www.girlsmiles.org . And using Social Media over the regular media. On opening up the website, I was greeted by the same design that I was a few weeks back, when me, Rupesh and Rajiv were admiring that website. The website uses the same concept of design.

As reported earlier, Mircosoft, with NDTV Media has started advertising on Facebook, in India. The Ad platform was launched in February 2008. Bolywood Humgama, Equity Master and HDFC Secutities were named as the publishing partners. Microsoft is already the ewxclusive advertising partner for Facebook in the United States. Of course they paid a bomb for this. But it’s a good strategy overall.
NDTV is the advertising partner and responsible for bringing the advertisers to the platform.
After being termed as “One of the most innovative companies in India in 2007”, by Microsoft, the Hyderabad based NetXcell has announced that it will be raising around $ 3 million through private equity. The fund will be used to expand its sales in India and the US, besides its product portfolio, reports BusinessStandard.
