The claim made in the story is false. Josh 18 is not the first news site to provide hindi scorecards. Dainik Jagran's news website www.jagran.com had been providing cricket scorecards in hindi from the time when leave aside Josh 18, even Web 18 was not conceived and none of the current channels or forays of network 18 (previously TV 18) had come into existence. It was during the end of the last century. And Jagran is not a regional outfit. It is the most read newspaper in the country across all languages and Jagran's website has been the most viewed hindi news website all along. Even in its current avtaar of a co-branded website Jagran.Yahoo.com has just the double page views and more than double unique users than what Josh 18 has claimed and we are still providing the Hindi scorecard. And mind it that this co-branded site too came into existence well before Josh 18 last year.
