Indyarocks which recently launched games on their social network has launched the mobile version of their social network. The mobile platform has all the popular features of Indyarocks like Profiles, People search, Personal Diary, Graffiti wall, private messaging, Free SMS, Movie reviews, Movie Wallpapers and Show times. The new mobile platform is also complimented with existing SMS calendar notifications and MMS based photo and video uploads.

Indyarocks Goes Mobile!

“Indyarocks.com was launched with an aim to provide a compelling on the move social environment for Indians across the globe. The launch of the mobile version with advanced networking and entertainment features is a strong move towards achieving our goal.” Said Kalyan Manyam, Head of operations.

We had done a detailed review of the Indyarocks platform soon after their launch last year.  This move of going mobile comes right after orkut quietly launched its mobile version. Its testimony to the fact that the future of social networking is on mobile which we blogged about recently as well. I guess gps based social networking on mobile is something I myself am dying to see in India. The social impact of something like that would create a paradigm shift in marketing of consumer brands to users.
