as far as google maps are concerned, unless you block out govt facilities and high risk locales, i think nothing else is of prime importance!!!

Personally I am a big fan of Google maps. However, from the security point of view Google maps can be a matter of concern. 

More over it is just like an earlier hoax "that gmail is reading your e-mails as the ads displayed  are based on the content of your e-mail."</description>

		<description>People have their fundas in life all wrong!! It makes no sense to boycott Google Maps because they are efficient! If there is something kept out in full view of the public by eye, then the Satellites are sure to pick it up as well...

If there are any privacy concerns, why is it out in the open in the first place.. its not like you can not control the circumstances.

Preposterous.. if they wanted their "cat" to not be seen, they should "wrap" it up then!!!</description>
