Consim Info (Previously BharatMatrimony) To Spend 50 Crores on Advertising
Internet portals budgets for advertising keep increasing which is quite a direct impact of all the funding they recieve these days. Also its becoming increasingly important for portals to look at offline spend as they are looking at going offline themselves.
So Consim Info which was previously BharatMatrimony has now finalised an agency in Publicis Ambience to do all its creative duties. Consim Info owns a plethora of sites right from matrimony, jobs, property, loans, auto classifieds and even social cause oriented ones like Bharatmatrinmony, IndiaProperty.com, IndiaAutomobile.com, Indiapages.com, IndiaList.com, ClickJobs.com and BharatBloodBank.com.

Consim Info has chalked out a budget of 50 crores for the same. I guess most of the VC money is going to ad agencies. If no one else advertising agencies will surely do well.
It will be interesting to see how Consim info manages to do justice to all its sites. I just feel there are too many of them for all of them to be successful.
