Yes WATBlog is proud to announce the launch of WATSearch – The World’s first social search engine. Its taken us 6 months of hardwork. Also we are proud to announce that this venture is now backed by 3 Venture Capitalists who have invested 3 million dollars.

So without much delay let me showcase WATSearch! Currently hosted on search.watblog.com because we are still in BETA and WATSearch.com is unavailable!

WATSearch is a unique search engine that lets you search the social graph of any person across the web. To give you an idea here is a screenshot below:

watsearch

As you can see above WATSearch tracks your existence through social media and gives you a social score as to where you stand in the social media sphere.

Would like to give credit to the team: Rajiv Dingra Founder & CEO WATSearch, Rupesh Mandal Chief Innovation Officer & Ankit Saxena Chief Technology Officer.

  7. Nice one Rajiv.
But on a serious note, this idea might get funding. There is a need for something like this which tracks and audits your social presence and the tone and nature of conversations happening about you, espcially for the corporates.

  8. nice one ;)

though curious to know….3 million in dollars or rupees ?

  12. The walled garden that social networks have is bound to break! im just not sure that a WATSearch kind of thing will be the way. One second thoughts a ’social search’ kind of thing should also have number of connections, activity across networks, social worth (a platform for which already exists). 1st when i saw social search i thought something like wikia search! but a good one overall! even though i knew it was a fool – the search page was great!

  13. That was a good prank!
But the monkey pic gave it away!!

  14. Congratulations to WAT Team. Is it Series A round?

  22. Hi,
never forget the intelligence of the fools.
companies first release the beta version or some version . before that they never disclose what they are doing.

  23. @Rajiv
Well its a very tough ask to rate the people where they stand socially and getting access to databases of all social networking sites….getting their permission…is another big deal……

  24. I feel for it.
This is what happens to extremely optimistic people like me, who catch up on their feeds only on weekends.
    good one !

  25. wow……
