OK fine. Frankly, I get pissed off when people (websites, yaar) serve me car loans ads for a BMW when I do not even have money to buy a Bajaj Pulsar. (What I do with all my salary, is another question altogether). At times, I so wanna ask these ad-networks, what do you see in my profile that suggests that it’s ok for you to prompt me to go and buy an eight-cylinder, 3000 CC sedan? That, however, is not an option. Not anymore.
This news piece says, Yahoo is planning to let the end users know their ad profile. What this means is, that you will be able to right-click on an ad and find what exactly in your profile has prompted Yahoo to deliver that ad of the matrimony website

In the last post we discussed ephemeralization – doing more with less and its importance with respect to product related technologies. We sort of also saw how that applies to certain web products as well. For example Facebok – by allowing users to do more with one portal, has been perceived as an innovator and also gained [...]
Check out this video – its made by a group of 3 Austrian pseudo musicians (they call themselves iBand). It’s a song titled ‘Life is Greater than the Internet’. Personally I think the vocals are quite crappy but it’s quite exciting to see this innovation through which these guys have become mini pop cultural artefacts [...]
