Hey Rupesh, Thanks for mentioning my name. I think I like point number 3. I think its good way to build customer base. They may think of doing some online competition to market their sites. Good work!

Hi Rupesh

Thanks a lot for reviewing us and posting the radio widget here. Feels really cool to see it on watblog :)

I would reply to some of your suggestions

To engage more artists, it should build a revenue sharing model e.g. releasing an album of selected songs and share the profits with the artists.

Instead of an album where we pick 8 songs, we would wait for sometime and go for an itunes kind of store and give everyone a chance to sell. After all thats what our tag line is "get an audience"

Audio advertisement (of around 5 sec.) before playing any song.

Sounds cool

Tie-ups with TV reality shows. There are various musical TV reality shows like Indian Idol, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Voice of India .etc. Tie-up for auditions and/or preliminary rounds will attract more artists. Also, those TV shows will get better participants.

Yes I think the idea is to go to smaller and more regional talent shows that actually may not be able to travel so much to find talent.

Tie-up with some professional audio editing software to provide an older version free of cost to Muziboo community members. While members will get an audio editing s/w free of cost, it will help in branding of the audio editing tool too.
This sounds cool too .. however currently we recommend open source Audacity to our members. Most of them find it to be quite good too.

Thanks again for the review and suggestions. As we implement some of the above, we will keep you posted.

Regards

I am extremely glad to see my favorite service Muziboo on my favorite blog watblog today. Muziboo has really helped community projects like mine, apart from individual artists.

Totally on a bootstrap budget, Prateek and Nithya have put in their full stream efforts for this magnificent service to artists!
