RealAcres.com a Red herring Asia 100 finalist has launched an interesting initiative. It has launched an online video show featuring interviews of Real Estate Industry builders and head honchos (i.e. A WATShow for the Real Estate Industry ).

The video interviews has features builders and developers and other real estate experts sharing their views and insights on the booming real estate market and also on throwing some light on their company products and profile.

Seems like an interesting way to introduce your online brand to builders and also a great way to educate your online customers. Also just like WATShow the videos seem to be hosted on youtube making it widely embeddable and distributable. Even Web18 had launched an online video show recently with the name Biztech2tv.

As we move towards narrowcasting on TV as well with the advent of DTH and niche channels I see an opportunity for niche content like the real acres interviews and WATShow to be showcased on TV as there does exist an audience which would be very interested to view such content and Tv channel being short on manpower to actually invest their own money in such niche content would rather licens/ syndicate it to add more and more content capabilities to their channels.

I wasn’t surprised when I saw Zee business channel folks at a recent internet summit doing exactly what WATShow has been doing i.e. taking exclusive interviews with internet and mobile co ceos. Made me smile as it shows the potential
