Remember those small screens placed inside the bookstore Crossword? Yes, the ones responsible for distracting you with Baywatch-like scenes when you are really trying to focus on that fourth paragraph from An Autobiography of a Yogi. Yes that is Out-of-Home advertising.

Now, Infosignz Technologies, a digital signage and narrowcasting solution provider has launched a free version of their digital signage management system.

The system is completely web-based, and so, does not require any software download. InfoSignz targets retail store owners, out of home (OOH) TV networks, hotels, business and communication managers, franchise and in-store networks, educational institutes, SOHO clients, saloons, conference rooms, kiosks and media agencies.

Using the platform, advertisers can have a control over their content and the advertising spots that they want to advertise in. The platform aims to make the complete process a lot easy and hassle free.

Mr. Siddharth Sethi, CEO of InfoSignz said

“We believe that one size will not fit all. Our platform is actually that – a platform – it is not just a software. In the near future, we will introduce integration with external APIs, enterprise database and interactivity, all on pay per use“.

InfoSignz free version has the capability to play video, flash files, image show, RSS feeds, and tickers. InfoSignz can be fully customized to deliver targeted content including product and sales promotions, weather and news updates. Even RSS feeds can be delivered to the end screens.
