		<description>Though I agree with you on the Speeds in India being slow and not upto the mark, even TRAI's report also say the same. As well as correctly pointed out by SS in the above comment that if we go to the tier 2 and 3 cities it would be worse.

However, where India has a strategic advantage is in terms of Service. What I mean is in case when you have any breakdown of service the response to correct it is much better and faster in India than in US.

In US the service providers ask you to come to them at an appointed time and then they will assess the situation and based on that they will do anything. This can take you anywhere between 2 weeks to 2 months to get the final rectification.

However, in India, the service is restored much faster and the service people come to your doorstep within 3 working days if required.</description>

even in a city like mumbai, there are pockets where u are at the mercy of your local cable operators for broad band connectivity (of course u can go for mtnl)
