if 15 lakh is the total no. of users on all web startups in India, then how can
Bigadda is claiming 1.5 million/15 lakh unique users.

I noticed 2 times in this article
Siddhartha saying “WE HAVE ONE AND A HALF MILLION USERS”.

I find this statement really contradictory with this article which i came across yesterday-

“Web 2.0 start-ups together have 15 lakh users in India: IDC” which includes all social networking sites like fropper, minglebox,etc (after eliminating overlaps)

It is getting a bit too crowded in the social networking front now.

Rather than just crowding up the social networking space, I am waiting to see any player going beyond social networking. It is a pity to find the same things in almost all the site, but every one claims to be different.

There are a few people having really great ideas, and i am waiting for the launch of their ideas.
