These days I have been hearing a lot about the educational portals and their new features. The educational standard in India is improving. India-UK virtual grad school was an initiative towards the educational system in India. Later on Tata Indicom, IITs, Mumbai Universities followed the suite. Now, Hundred Percentile Education Private Limited have announced IIT JEE ranking on their site www.100percentile.com.
This will enable the students to take the online mock entrance test for ITT JEE’07 and will compare their scores with the previous years result and the cut off. The tests will analyze the level, strength and weakness of the student. The test material is provided by Vidyamandir Classes.
On this Sandeep Anand, President, Hundred Percentile Education, said, “Know your rank feature is designed carefully to provide the students an experience close to what they have to go through shortly when appearing for the JEE. The students appearing for this curriculum would not only get the JEE flavor but also get to know with reasonable level of accuracy their level of preparation and how much more distance they need to cover in these crucial few weeks before the D-day”.
The website provides test materials for std X and IIT JEE and allows the new user to take a test for free and later on to subscribe for the test materials on regular basis.
All these educational portals are doing exactly similar work. There are hardly any differences between the portals.
I checked out the site myself and it was very convenient and well maintained. It gave me various options for taking a test in subjects like math’s, physics, and chemistry 2008 and 2009 and math’s test for X std.

its about the growing menace of coaching centres in cities and towns. The number of fake coaching centrs whiich are mashrooming day by day is mind boggling. The second thing which worries is that these do not have the permanency and as long as these are of permanent nature the quality willl remain compromised
Thirdly and the most important part is that there being no rules and regulations which these outlets,popping up in every nook and corner of the city, are subjected to and in the absence of the agency to regulate them they rule the roost. They have hardly any concern about the quality and consisstency.
