Integrid Media Launches YQWorld.com - A Career/Education Site

Integrid Media the digital and ooh (out of home) media company has launched a new web initiative in YQWorld.com which aims at providing information to a target group of 15-21 year olds. YQWorld would provide comprehensive career counseling, guidance and information to youth in India.
According to Anil Mishra, Founder & CEO, Integrid Media, “We are really excited about this concept of a career portal. This portal will have features like online tests, which will help a student better understand his/her aptitude, personality and abilities, and suggest suitable career options for him/her in which he/she will be most successful. This would be a scientific and systematic approach that would help them take more informed decisions instead of the random approach that most students follow today. Currently, the portal is in the beta testing stage.”
WATBlog spoke to Tarun Singh Vice President & Business Head (New Media) of Integrid who informed us that going ahead Integrid will launch more 4-5 portals/web properties in the information services , finance and the news and media space. He also stated that the current state of YQWorld is just a beta version and lots will be added soon.
Naukri has been eyeing the education space since quite long and will soon be launching Shiksha im assuming but this move by integrid media does show that thesre is tremendous promise and companies are looking to venture and tap the education information services space online. Also the media/online agency model + Web property combination does work very well as has been proven by smile studio which had quasar and a couple of web products in Tyroo and Zoomtra. The reason for this is the operations team of the media agency can double up as the operations team for the web property/product and clients of the media agency can be used to drive initial advertisers for the web property.
