The Microsoft Yahoo story is getting interesting by the minute. So Yahoo has stuck to its guns and the wishes of flickr users by not accepting Microsoft’s bid by stating that it was “substantially undervalued” in an official statement after it had leaked out its intentions a few days ago.

Microsoft on the other end was quick to respond with a press release further stressing what yahoo stakeholder will be greatly benefitted by this deal and how this bid is a “full and fair proposal”. Its a buzz in the news websites that microsoft may increase its bid from anywhere between 5 to 12 billion $.

Techcrunch’s Mike Arrington also feels that Yahoo with time will give in to Microsoft and that in the end Microsoft will merge a winner in this battle of words and negotiation. Google on the other end is a silent watcher of these happenings and besides for its appeal to the industry to boycott this deal at its anti competition by its Legal Head Google has by far remained silent to the ongoings.

We have earlier covered many dimensions of this deal be it advertising or what microsoft needs to be careful about or an analytical post comparing microsoft yahoo google trio to a love triangle. In my opinion sooner rather than later there wont be no triangle which will mean two opponents Microsoft and Google will be gunning for each other. Only time will tell the real impact of this deal whenever it does get done on the overall web and technology industry globally. I feel it will have more positives than negatives at least from a user point of view.
