Indian women is no more glued to just “Kyunki Saas Bhi…” and daily soap gossips. Now, she participates in all activities from education to politics, media, art & culture to service sectors and Science and Technology. She has replaced Idiot Box with Computer, TV-remote with mouse and chakki-belan with Keyboard and has entered into the Blogosphere.
My favorite Indian women bloggers are:- YouthCurry & NitaWriter. Apart from English, this News source states that Indian women is inclined towards blogging in Hindi and other regional languages too. The same source talks about Sunita Chotiya Shanoo and Ranjana Bhatiya who realised the power of internet and got recognition as Chithikaar (Blogger).
Previously, there were negligible female bloggers. Also, we have blogged on Murugavel J., Chairman of IAMAI and CEO of BharatMatrimony predicting that regional language sites won’t work in India. But, now many portals like tarkash.com, hindyugm.com are encouraging and promoting women regional blogging. Women have broken the barriers of age .etc. factors. Some women regional bloggers are:- Mamta, Mired Mirage, Anita Kumar.
Some other sites and hindi blog feed aggregators are:- Narad, Blogvani, chitthajagat where you can find really good hindi blogs. Also, there is a community of Hindi bloggers on orkut.
Women bloggers are not blogging for just self-satisfaction. They have learnt the tips and tricks of engaging wide audience and making money out of it by displaying ads on the blogs. Even blogging platforms are encouraging regional blogging such as Hindi transliterator support in Blogger and WordPress available in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.
My blogging experience says that women bloggers receive more comments on their posts and have more returning visits. Do you agree with me?

बहुत बढिया है जी.. हिंदी चिट्ठों की चर्चा अब अंग्रेजी चिट्ठों और समाचार पत्रों पर भी होने लगी है.. आज आपने जितनी महिला चिट्ठाकारों की जानकारी दी है उनमें मेरी पसंद की अनिता कुमार जी हैं.. वो अभी जिस उम्र के पड़ाव पर हैं उस पर अक्सर लोग तकनीक संबंधित चीजों भागते फिरते हैं और यही मेरी पसंद का सबसे बड़ा कारण है.. एक पते की बात भी बताता चलूं, वो आपके ही शहर से हैं यानी की मुम्बई से..
आपने आज कुछ हिंदी ब्लौग अग्रीगेटरों की भी चर्चा की है तो लगे हाथों मैं उसका भी इतिहास बताता चलूं.. मैंने नारद के बारे में सबसे पहले जाना था और उसका http://mohalla.blogspot.com के साथ विवाद, फिर ब्लौगवाणी का जन्म, फिर नारद के अंतर्रूप में बदलाव और आज के समय में उसका सभी हिंदी अग्रीगेटरों की तुलना में हाशिये पर होना.. ये सभी गये साल की बातें हैं.. आज के समय में मेरी समझ में ब्लौगवाणी सबसे ज्यादा देखा जाने वाला अग्रीगेटर है.. और चिट्ठाजगत ने अपने रंग-रूप में बदलाव करके अपने ही पैरों पर कुल्हाड़ी मार ली है..

आपका लेख थोडा जल्दी आ गया । तीन दिन पहले ही एक नया ब्लॉग “चोखेर बाली” शुरु किया है ।
पता है – sandoftheeye.blogspot.com अभी 7 स्त्री ब्लॉगर लिखती है । यह blog उन स्त्री मुद्दों को अड्रेस करता है जिन्हे अनदेखा कर दिया जाता है । अन्य जेंडर आइडेंटिटी से जुडे मुद्दे भी लिखे जाएंगे । अभी शुरुआत है । काँरवाँ बढ रहा है । इसका भी ज़िक्र करेंगे तो अच्छा लगेगा ।

thanks for letting ppl know abt hindi blogging. the more ppl get to know abt it the more readers we will have .
the hindi blogger community is still not v large, but its growing rapidly. we r dealing with all kinds of topics there and have lively discussions, comments etc. whether a blogger is a man or a woman is not as imp as his/her being gender sensitive. a lot of women r writing on women issues apart from other topics there. the same woman may write poetry, satire and also abt women related topics.
i write as ghughutibasuti in hindi.
