“We are interested in partnering with entrepreneurs who would develop some applications that can be leveraged through Yahoo,” said Mr Sharad Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, Yahoo Software Development India Pvt Ltd.

For example, if you have an idea or any establishment for business purpose & you want to popularize it online with the help of portals, then Yahoo would be willing to provide you assistance in the form of tools and technology. It’s like you starts the business & we will help you to popularize it on net. Yahoo India wants to share their experience. The business will be listed on Yahoo’s home page so that users may be directed to it by clicking on its link.

 

Plus there is something interesting for you guys. If Yahoo finds your business interesting, they will invest in it as well. It’s a kind of market strategy that Yahoo is building up so that they can popularize them as well as you can earn more revenue.

 

Yahoo India now wants to develop Indian market vigorously in untouched areas when their competitors are just thinking about it. Yahoo’s recent applications, India Maps and Indian City are entirely developed in India. Once Yahoo Go 3.0 is launched in India, the mobile version of Indian City and Maps will be available as a widget.
