Asian School of Cyber Laws Launches Search Engine For Cyber Crime

We have been hearing lot about cyber crimes. Lots of developments have been happening in the cyber security domain. Even a toll free number was recently launched by Agape India to combat cyber crime. These days online transaction companies are looking forward to having a safe transaction and for this reason online ticketing portals include Decision Manager or include BillDesk. Asian School of Cyber Laws has used Google custom search and launched a search engine on cyber crime world.

The search engine will enable the user to learn, various ways in which it can protect the computer from getting hacked. This engine can be accessed for free from www.data64.cc. The Cyber Crime engine only recognizes the words that are related to cyber crime and hence produces relevant results. I gave it a spin with a word called “phishing” which is most common these days while hacking bank accounts, the results were relevant and provided me a website were I could report phishing sites.

On this Rohas Nagpal, president, Asian School of Cyber Law said, “Conventional searches on Google for specialized areas like cyber crime investigation, forensics and security lead to a lot of irrelevant results. Sites that are optimized well (but have sub-standard content) come up earlier on searches. In this case, only Web pages which have been identified to contain good quality information are searched”.

This is not a special search engine but just a custom search by google. I don’t think this site deserves this much attention though.
