With the advance in technology, when everything is now made available on the Internet no one seems to read either books or newspapers. Today it is possible to read newspapers, books, tutorials online. Earlier Yellow Pages and MTNL’s helpline 28888888 were used to find the address of a new hotel, building, café house and so on but it would happen that either these places didn ‘t exist or their new address were not available in the Yellow Pages or both. It would take ages to get on line with the MTNL helpline. So to make things easier Yulop (pronounced you loop), a Bangalore based company, has launched CityFind (http://cityfind.yulop.com ) to find the local business information for the city of Bangalore.

CityFind consist of all the business present in the city of Bangalore. Like hotels, restaurants, accommodation, education, automobiles, travel, shopping and so on. It also includes a lot of street side listings like chaat joints, plumber, bhaji stalls and etc. It not only helps the user to locate a place but also allows them to rate that place. This creates a bridge between the customers and the business owners.

On this Mr. Sridhar, founder and CEO of Yulop said, “The vision to give Web Identity to Every SME along with a comprehensive search engine lead way in developing CityFind, we would be traversing to all Metro cities within this year.

Local search for businesses is taking up recently. With services like JustDial, HungryBangalore, Ubona and many more already in the market what differentiates Yulop’ s CityFind is the latitude and the longitude search used to locate a place. But will this help them win over the customers, is yet to be seen.
