To reach and engage wider global audience and volunteers, create awareness of child rights and taking action, CRY (Child Rights and You) has partnered with Indusgeeks, a technology and new media company and opened up its campus in SecondLife.com and became “first Indian non-profit organisation working on child rights” to open an office in Second Life, touted as the hottest online virtual revolution.

The virtual office is uniquely designed as lego blocks that emphasizes on children i.e core essence of CRY. Apart from avataars, displays, videos, community development stories and photo essays this virtual space offers products like attractive greeting cards, gift articles, stationary products .etc.

 

Before this, Facebook and UNICEF got together for “Charity Gifts” and Fropper took social awareness of AIDS and ecoganpati as a route to branding.

 

 

Previously, we have blogged about Wipro setting up office in Second Life. Now, IBM India IBM Second Lifetoo has entered the league by expanding its business centre for India in Second Life, with live sales “avatars” based in India to offer an enriched customer experience.

So, if someone wants to buy a hardware, software product/service or need a business solution they can contact the virtual avataar and it will make sure that you reach the real right IBM expert.
