ishareEver Since Rediff Ishare was launched it has been on tieup spree when it comes to exclusive content so be it saregamapa, anecho, gandhi jayanti or zoom tv Rediff has been making content tie ups left right and center. We had discussed how Rediff had to go the content tieup way as Indian are viewers but few of them are participants in the sense of uploading or creating content.

Now Rediff has gone ahead and tied up with Ram and Ria a online sitcom which we covered on WATBlog.  On the tieup Manish Agarwal, VP-Marketing, Rediff.com, said, “More and more people are logging online to watch entertaining videos these days. Rediff iShare as platform offers an opportunity for professional content owners to catch these audiences, which are shifting from TV to the Internet for entertainment. Small production houses can use our platform to showcase their content and earn appreciation for their talents.”

Mr.Agarwal also shared that Rediff is ain talks with several film production houses to share their content on the rediff ishare platform. I guess the goal here by rediff is to become a premiere multimedia platform for exclusive video content across various verticals be it entertainment, information or events.
