You might have heard the adage,
“The pen is mightier than the sword…”
In this era, blog has replaced the former one. Many famous personalities take it as a leisure activity, but it has brought fame to India-born Om Malik, who has been listed as one of the global web celebrities by Forbes. He has been ranked 12th for technology blogging on the list of ‘Web celeb 25’ where he enters the league with many fellow bloggers, video hosts and gadget gurus. He blogs at www.gigaom.com and has worked as a technology journalist for various publications in the past.
29 years old Perez Hilton, a controversial gossip blogger from www.perezhilton.com fame tops the list whose so-called poison pen pierces the lives of Hollywood stars.
Now talking about Bollywood celebrities, Rahul Bose started blogging in mid 2005 but stopped in late 2006. Aamir Khan uses his blog as a tool to interact with his fans. He promoted the trailer of “Tare Zameen Par” to his blog readers before distributing it to other media & listened to audience reactions after movie release. Now, many other B-town folks are following his footsteps.
Blogging can boost your career. Also, blogging is now the buzzword among fresh graduates who are keen to make it a career. Even, WAT team started with WATBlog, but eventually has grown to WATConsult, WATShow, WATJob and many more to come soon.
Hopefully, someday while traveling by bus or train, a stranger will tell me too - “Hey, I know you…!”

This is good
There are a lot of guys who have had their lives changed because they blog
Hugh Mcleod at Gaping Void
Robert Scoble at Scobleizer
Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit
And many, many more
I found a very sweet fellow blogger and we have been together since past two years. So, even though it didn’t make a celebrity, it at least helped me in a way in finding the love of my life.
