Rohit Sharma COO of Zapak Games recently at the IAMAI summit mentioned that the future of games is such where users will be engaged on a platform where they stay with the game for years to come.
Games are forms of entertainment where users can virtually ‘make’ their own movie.
So more and more games will be ‘predetermined’. In terms of a revenue model, games are looking to make revenues not for selling the initial services but for selling services within the games themselves such as weapons or a new form of clothing etc.
