MapmyIndia, that recently launched MapmyIndia GPS navigator, has now signed up with General Motors for in-car GPS navigation. It will come equipped as a standard accessory in all variants of General Motors’ premium cars in India. So, this will be first time in India when a car will have an in-built GPS navigator as a genuine accessory.
MapmyIndia navigator is a small, portable, satellite-connected in-car GPS device that will help the driver to locate nearby ATMs, petrol pumps, restaurants .etc. It is voice guided and provides turn by turn navigation. Now with this partnership, GM dealership all over India will offer this product as a GM genuine accessory.
Talking about cars, what’s making hot news is- TATA NANO, which claims to be world’s cheapest car. And on a lighter note, our WAT team too has a navigator. Guess who? Yes, it’s Disha because Disha in Hindi means direction.
