WATBlog does not speculate too often but the buzz is that Vijay Mallaya is very keen on Social Networking.
It seems like his recent high profile acquisition Force India F1 will have its very own Social Network!
The network will allow F1 fans in the country to have a common platform and apparently one may even see games etc being played by users where they can race each other.
Vijay Mallaya has a knack of picking up the right trends and his foray into Social Networking probably bodes well for the Industry as a whole.
It remains to be seen when exactly the social network will launch. One might even see a revamped version of the original ForceIndiaF1 website.
It is important for brands to engage audiences through social networks but it must be done tactfully. It remains to be seen whether the Force India Community will be able to engage users and leverage effective conversations.

I wont be very surprised, kingfisher airlines is already spending a lot of money in online marketing, CRM, database and email marketing.
With F1 coming, this could only be the next step with getting official database building tools online, catering to specific interests. You can easily implement pull marketing and create an exclusive online club.
Good speculation though.
Hush hush…they might be cutting some(3K) jobs too…my speculation.
