The U.S based internet giant Yahoo! Inc just released the top ten search trends in various categories and the results seem to be obvious to the growing concerns and media reports worldwide. The search trends online depicts the trend of news in the offline media.

About Top Ten News Stories:
The events relating to “Saddam Hussein”, the late dictator general of Iraq, was the most searched news story in 2007. Certainly, the keywords “Iran”, “Iraq” and “US President George W. Bush” did not lag far behind as they are placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively in their rankings. The United States President had called on “Iran” to let IAEA inspectors inspect their nuclear establishments while George W. Bush had already sent US troops to capture “Saddam Hussein” who was hiding in “Iraq”.
