After the success of its first animation film, Hanuman, Percept Picture Company (PPC) is now ready with the sequel, aptly titled “Hanuman Returns”. This one will be an eagerly awaited one. And to top it all, PPC plans to bring out a game featuring the protagonist.
Sources say that PPC has signed a two- year exclusive deal with Jump games to develop games based on the film “Hanuman Returns”.
The first game features Hanuman being born on earth in a human avtar from Brahma’s blessing.
“Hanuman Returns” is going to be a 25crore movie. PPC seems to be taking this project quite seriously. Animation is set to become big in India. “Hanuman Returns”, when it returns, will scale new heights. Of course, given the film is a descent one. And using mobile game for promoting the movie is actually a very nice idea. We had written about how Bajaj Allianz used an online game to market itself. Using an online game for promoting a film makes more sense. And using and online game to promote children’s animation film makes even more sense. I can already see a lot of people flocking on to the game site to try out the game.
