Gautam, it is an interesting post... But as Sunil Has rightly pointed, Sunsilkgangofgirls is Not a Mictosite.. Neither are many of the sites mentioned in the list.. like makeyourmoves.com (Incidentally, i was working in the same organisation which has made these websites .. Gang of girl, Make yOur Moves etc mentioned in the list) Closeup.com, 7up.in etc are pure Brand Website... Not Microsites..

In fact, truly, the HappyDent and Pepsi are the two examples of pure micro-sites in the list ...

@Sunil - Thanks for the comment. Sunsilk is a microsite compared to its original website sunsilk.com, thats different that it has gained more popularity and initially it wasn't what it is today. keep commenting... ;)

@Shiva - thanks for the info. i have a lot more names including whatstheprogram.com but the list would have been too long. Keep informing. we appreciate the effort. :)

To add to your list of microsites, www.whatstheprogram.com from Lay's. Yes, you are absolutely right there has been an increase in microsites and some have become brand on their own like sunsilk gang of girls.
