Anyone who has ever given the CAT Entrance exam for MBA in India knows that once the exam is over there is tremendous chitter chatter, excitement for some and disappointment for some after discovering whether they cracked or didn’t crack one of the toughest MBA entrance exams in the world. So to make the life after exams a little easier EnableM, a company in mobile products and services technology, in association with IMS coaching institute in the field of Management Entrance Training have launched an interesting service – The I-msg. I-msg is a SMS-GPRS combo tool that allows MBA aspirants, appearing for the all-important CAT exam this year  to analyze their performance in the CAT exam. Students can register to the service by sending a SMS, JOIN CAT to 55454. The service is currently available for AIRTEL & VODAFONE users at a one time cost of Rs. 30.

On the day of the CAT, the registered students just have to SMS their Questions Paper Series Number and within hours, they will receive all the correct answers for the CAT questions!

I see a lot of students subscribing to this service. For most students CAT is the most important entrance exam of their lives and this service hits the anxious students need to know his results and i expect students in large numbers to subscribe to this service. Though how the students will recieve answers to all the questions (because there are 100 and above questions) is still unclear. But nevertheless a smart move by IMS to offer this value added services.
